The Long White Scary Wall

Sunrise maternity photo shoot was on programme today and as I am thinking, it has been a while since I had the last morning photo session. Sydney’s cloudy weather has been sticking with us for some time now, so this day was no exception. I met Maria and her hubby and walked together to the Long Reef. Everyone could see the dark clouds coming towards us from every direction. As I kept pressing the shutter to capture those beautiful poses, I was suddenly petrified by the face of Maria’s husband. He looked so scared so I asked him if there is anything wrong. He replied quietly: “Look behind you”. When I turned back I could see a white wall soaked up with water and ready to splash us down to the ocean. The first thing that came to mind was the fact that camera will get wet. I turned to Maria with a happy face saying that nothing was happening and asked her for a big smile :) We were and had to be convinced that we’ll make it. We were so lucky that the wall missed us and wiped Collaroy instead of us.
