I’ve got my new favourite photo shoot spot

Katrina’s maternity photo shoot took place at Long Reef during the sunrise. Some clouds were passing by and the morning sunlight was fabulous so the conditions for taking photos were just phenomenal. I have already had some photo sessions on the beaches below Long Reef and I usually took photos with my clients on the top of the hill but this was for the first time after dawn.

Because I knew that Katrina had just a few days left before her due date, I thought it might be a bit difficult for her to walk down the steps and then climb back up. But Katrina was fantastic and full of energy, so it was not an issue for her.

The photo shoot went pretty easy and smoothly (mainly thanks to mum-to-be) and so we took a few photos on several nice spots. One of them has become my favourite photo shoot locations. We were there completely alone, just with a few seagulls wondering around us.

One of the best things about autumns in Australia is the morning sunlight. You don’t have to be in hurry and worried about the early sharp bright light. Anyway, I’m hoping that there will be more days and mums like this.
